Alia's latest flick Highway is being directed by Jab We Met fame Imtiaz Ali. Randeep Hooda is featuring opposite to Alia. The film is set to be shoot in six different states. Normally film covers a journey but here Journey has made the film. Alia is working extremely hard to prove her mettle. She has agreed to give her sweat and blood for the movie without any complaint.
The film has adopted a new strategy of promotion where instead of teasers they are releasing small episodes called Highway Diaries , which allow audience to get connected through story.
"Highway took me to all these amazing places that I probably wouldn’t have ever seen otherwise. Sambhar, the salt factory, was the most beautiful and most weird experience for me. I celebrated my birthday there as well. In many ways, I think it was here that I truly started feeling like Veera,” said Alia Bhatt.
